Abstract :
Through measuring and calculating the related parameters of surface profile machined by Tangential Turn-milling, the fractal dimension of the surface machined in different feeding and ratio of revolution is got. Results show that fractal trait can express the information of surface texture. With the increase of feeding , fractal dimension of workpiece surface reduces and the structure of surface texture becomes thin. And with the increase of ratio of revolution, fractal dimension of workpiece surface increases, the structure of surface texture becomes dense, and the lower texture height is obtained.
