  • Abstract
The short-cut nitrification was conducted in three SBBR reactors of different intermittent aeration ways. Experiments were carried out to observe the impact of aeration change frequency, the addition of an anoxia phrase and anoxia time, under the condition of CODCr among 100 ~ 200mg/L, concentration of NH4+-N around 120 mg/L, temperature of (23 + 1)°C, pH of 6.7-7.0, initial MLSS around 3,500mg/L. It can be concluded from the results that short-cut nitrification was conducted well in the model of low aeration change frequency and a anoxia phrase of 30~40s, and the NH4+-N removal rate was above 53% and nitrosoation rate was above 84% within a reaction cycle of 4 hours.
