Abstract
Schematic drawings are very important for the visualization and recognition of analog circuits and their working-principles. There have been different methodologies reported to enhance the common two-dimensional (2D) schematics into three-dimensional (3D) views, which include visualization of circuit properties. This work builds on a previously published display-methodology with the ability to back annotate results of transient SPICE simulations into the 3D-schematic. It is shown how this technique can be used to create one single view for both easy design entry and meaningful simulation analysis. The integration of the latter two into one editor significantly improves the perception of the circuit´s behavior especially for students.
