  • Abstract
    Accurate coefficient of permeability is of vital importance for the underground water computing. In the paper, the coefficient of permeability is identified based on the observed hydraulic heads and drainages. An optimization model is used to identify the coefficient of permeability, which is solved with genetic algorithm. The performances of the proposed identification measure with improved genetic algorithm is testified by actual engineering applications and the results show that the parameter identification algorithm proposed in the paper is robust and globally convergent.
