  • Abstract
The Swimming and Diving Hall in Qingdao Sports Center is constructed for the 11th National Games in China. As a complex grid structure with a long-span steel roof, its construction is difficult to control. The pulling haulm to promotion method is employed in the construction of this grid structure. In this paper, the adjacent pulling haulm promotion differences and the ascent of the whole pulling haulm promotion differences for this grid structure in the process of ascension are analyzed using finite element numerical analysis in detail. Research results show that the influences of promotion differences for this type of grid structure´s stress are bigger, suggested that the grids adjacent pulling haulm promotion differences should be controlled within 1cm, the whole shell promotion differences should be controlled within 5cm.
