Abstract
The author discusses stray current protection on the Docklands Light Railway. It was complicated by two factors; the DLR shares bridges handrails, etc., with BR, and the automatic train protection involves the use of tones. The stray earth currents suffered by the DLR are discussed as are methods for earth current detection
