  • Abstract
    The study on dynamic response of CFRD is presented using 50g-t centrifuge shaking table in Tsinghua university subjected to sine wave and Parkfield earthquake wave. The experiment is conducted under the 50g condition. Acceleration time histories are recorded by acceleration transducer at different locations on the model and the deformation of the face-slab is also measured. The vibration response and deformation law of CFRD is studied by changing the waveform of input wave. The results show that the waveform of the input wave has considerable influence on the dynamic response of CFRD.The acceleration amplication effect,deformation of the dam, the stress and strain of the face slab subjected to Parkfield earthquake wave is greater than that of sine wave.The stress and the flexural torque in the middle and upper part of face slab is rather significant.
