Abstract
Based on the large span space structure of Ordos´s airport extension project, a construction technique of curve pushing accumulating sliding was put forward and the principle of which was elaborated. A whole set of construction techniques was proposed, which included the design of three-directional bearing slipway and skied beams, friction-reducing technique and anti-friction materials, analog loading experimental technique, computer control technique and so on. Through finite element numerical simulations and analysis of the entire construction process, the stability, member stress and structural deformation of the whole structure during the construction process were obtained. The position of the crucial monitoring points could be determined as well. The monitoring during the construction indicated ordinance with the finite element result which verify the proposed technique safe, feasible and effective.
