  • Abstract
In this study, effects and mechanisms of inactivation of Microcystis aeruginosa(MA) were studied. The absorption spectrum and the electrolyte permeability of MA were measured. Before and after plasma treatment, the cell morphology was observed via the scanning electron microscopy (SEM).The role and contribution of active species in DBD plasma was studied. The results showed that the height of the absorption peak decreased and the plasma activity cracks the cell, resulting in cellular content leakage after treatment; The free radicals played a major role, followed by hydrogen peroxide, ozone and ultraviolet was faint in the inactivation of MA in DBD plasma.
