Abstract
In this paper, a singular pencil model-based predictive control strategy is developed from the viewpoint of practical control applications. The output predictor is designed using the online state estimates from a joint state and parameter estimator, which is based on the ordinary Kalman filter. As the parameters are estimated together with the state in real-time, a state feedback-based adaptive controller can be designed by using these estimated parameters and states. Therefore, the designed system is a whole state feedback adaptive system. The computer simulation results are presented to show the effectiveness of these techniques
