  • Abstract
The degradation of dibutyl phthalate simulated wastewater using Fenton reagent coupled with photocatalysis had been investigated. The effect of various factors, such as photocatalyst dosage, initial substrate concentration, pH, Fe2+ concentration and H2O2 concentration on the photocatalytic degradation of dibutyl phthalate was investigated. The results showed that the degradation efficiency of DBP reached 88.6% under the condition of the initial concentration of 10 mg-L-1, initial pH of 6.5, Fe2+dosage of 1.0mmol / L, H2O2 dosage of 0.3 mL, the amount of catalyst 0.05g, and reaction time of lh simultaneously, there is a synergistic effect with the Fenton system while adding catalyst and UV light.
