  • Abstract
The potential of using expert systems for producing computer-based tutoring systems is very promising. To make proper use of new technology in training, an expert system has been proposed which has the case setup environment, solution analysis environment, and consultation environment. The case setup environment aids the user in selecting the type of case to be made and the objective of the study, and, finally, the selection of the constraints for this type of study. The system consists of training preparation, training session, and training playback modes
