Abstract :
Pre-processing of the RF data, including realignment and stationary echo canceling procedures, is essential to study the microcirculation by means of a cross-correlation technique. In this work, the theoretical performance of this pre-processing is quantified. Particularly, the influences of the realignment window length and of the decorrelation rate of the reference fixed echo are studied. These results are then compared to the experimental results obtained with two experimental configurations
