NOSA (NATO OSI security architecture)

It is NATO´s policy to adopt International Standards wherever possible for the interoperability of NATO data communications systems. The ISO Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) Basic Reference Model (ISO 7498) has been used as the basis for the NATO Basic Reference Model (STANAG 4250). Similarly the ISO OSI Security Architecture (ISO 7498-2) has been used as the basis for the NATO OSI Security Architecture (NOSA)
