Euromethod [information systems project]

The objective of the Euromethod project is to harmonize information systems planning and development procedures in government administrations in the European Community. This includes activities such as strategic planning, requirements analysis, design, implementation and project management, all of which are part of the process of providing information systems to meet business needs. The project is particularly concerned to address the needs of procurement. The author considers the project´s background, its current status, its future, the benefits it offers, information systems engineering and the future of SSADM (Structured Systems Analysis and Design Method)
