Title :
Beam conditioning of high power diode lasers
Author_Institution :
PowerPhotonic Ltd., Dalgety Bay, UK
Abstract :
PowerPhotonic´s fabrication process allows the economic manufacture of application-specific and devicespecific micro-optics without incurring high tooling costs. The flexibility of this process allows a wide range of optical functions to be implemented, including wavefront compensators, slow-axis collimators and beam transformers. The process allows multiple functions to be integrated into a single optic, resulting in a simpler system design and a reduced bill of materials.
