Abstract
The author looks at the significant maintenance practices of the GE-type heavy duty gas turbines in terms of megawatts, give outputs in the range of 12/220 MW. For the gas turbine in regular operation, there are basically two types of maintenance, namely, running and shutdown. The author concentrates on shutdown maintenance including hot gas path inspection and combustion inspection
