Abstract
A turbogenerator is a rotating, high speed, complex precision machine which generates electrical power. The use of preventive maintenance can reduce the number and duration of unplanned outages by a process of periodic inspections, tests, and component refurbishment, replacement or upgrading. The author looks at how the Turbine Generator Service Organisation operates to provide optimum overhauls of turbogenerators
