  • Abstract
    With the complex function and high performance demands, the computer numerical control (CNC) system development faces great challenges. Transitional development methodology such as code-centric by hand, component based, model driven development (MDD) for CNC development were not suitable for nowadays CNC system development. A new development approach for CNC system development is necessary. Then aim of a new development integration framework for CNC system was described to meet the new requirements and the CNC system development model integration framework was provided, which enjoys the advantage of model driven and component based development. Two stages in this framework were described in detail. In the end a CNC typical application was introduced to demonstrate the feasibility of the development framework.
