A millimetre wave power transfer technique

The techniques described involve the use of a multistate reflectometer. Calibration of the multistate is performed by attaching to the output port a series of short circuits and loads and the parameters of the calibration are found by processing the ratios of two power meters. Dealing in ratios, the system is effectively levelled and the quantity Gamma /sub g/, the effective reflection coefficient of the multistate reflectometer, is calculated as part of the calibration routine.<>
