Abstract
The top few meters of the ocean floor is generally underconsolidated. Properties of such sediments have not yet been well researched. Adhesive resistance of these sediments has great application in all activities involving the sea floor. This paper describes laboratory pull-out tests on objects of different material embedded in artificially sedimented clay.
