  • Abstract
    The lightning direct threat to flight safety, study characteristics of the aircraft struck by lightning based on SAE-ARP5416 lightning protection testing methods and the international standards, using CST EM Studio software to simulate lightning attachment points on equal scale aircraft models. Studying the relevant parameters influence to the simulation results. The relevant parameters obtained based on the simulation of aircraft lightning partition, the zoning results are consistent with the SAE-ARP5414 Aircraft Lightning Zoning results.
