Abstract :
Research in the field of wireless sensor networks, one of the key technologies for the success of ubiquitous computing, has mainly been focusing on the issue of energy efficiency. We propose a new MAC protocol for reducing the energy consumption. So for this Analytical model is devised in which Duty is varied according to the Traffic flow at Queue. The proposed MAC protocol solves the energy inefficiency caused by idle listening, control-packet overhead, and overhearing.
