Abstract
An intuitive 3D image and graphics tool-kit was developed to study high-speed interactive image fusion. Although automated means have been sought by others to determine the affine transformation required to fuse one image data set with another, a method that makes use of human judgement was investigated to facilitate the choice of the 12 independent variables. The approach is suitable for fusing any combination of CT, MR, PET and SPECT studies
