Abstract :
The pedal is one of the most important parts assuring the safety and comfort of automotive. This paper adopts FEM (Finite Element Method) analysis the brake pedal assembly according to the industry standard. In order to obtain the strength of the brake pedal and on the base of the strength result of FEM the fatigue analysis is carried out to verify the strength whether meet the industry standard. At last, some experiments are conducted on the product designed by this method and the experimental results show that no fatigue failure happens.
