Abstract :
A transition section (used to transmit TE01 mode efficiently) with cosinusoidal profile is proposed in this paper. The operation principle and a method to design the section is studied. By the method, as an example, a 94 GHz transition section is designed. Comparison between the calculations by our codes and simulations by HFSS indicate that our method is feasible.
