Abstract
This paper investigates a nonlinear chirped-pulse amplification regime, where mild stretching causes self-phase modulation to generate significant spectral content. The generation of high temporal quality 20 muJ, 202 fs pulses at a repetition rate of 200 kHz is also demonstrated. Thus, this work opens new applications in future high field physics experiment based on fiber-based sources at high repetition rates.
