Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to develop a nonlinear and multivariable model, using the step response in a industry didactic plant, which is used in the course of industrial process control at IFES - SERRA (ES). From the physical equations are determine the stationary behavior of the plant in any operation point. By using the step response, the dynamic characteristics of the plant is approximated by a first order system with stationary gain and time constant depending on the operational points. The delay of the model is found by using the least squares method and the step response. With the completed model it is developed a simulator that compares the time response of the didactic plant with the proposed model.
