Abstract :
This paper presents a software framework called RTm@ps, which means a real-time “des mines” automotive prototyping system. First, we describe the requirements that lead to the development of this system, and then describe the features of RTm@ps that make it a good framework for prototyping multi-sensor automotive applications. We then show two typical applications involving RT m@ps: the first one is our lane/obstacle detection system; the second one is the data-logger/data-reader used to build a database of scenery for the CARSENSE European project
