Abstract :
The authors describe preliminary work in the characterisation of the multipath environment at frequencies in the 39 GHz and 60 GHz bands. Channel sounding tests have been carried out at Bristol University to investigate environmental effects. The results are evaluated in relation to a theoretical propagation model providing analysis and prediction of practical system performance
