  • Abstract
    The paper presents the solutions developed for the modernization of the 2 times 3 MW drive and the general automation of the test stand for large turbogenerator rotors (1350 MW) in the work of T. Sandu et al. (2005, 2004). The automation equipments are: the drive, the synchronous motors parameters control, the PC based general monitorization, the general automation. The digital vector control of the acceleration-deceleration parameters independent of the rotor dimensions, PC based monitorization of the drive and technological automation equipment are the highlights of the paper. The point out of the future developments about the power increasing and the PC based monitorization extension by the energetic parameters are presented
