Abstract
It is possible, at relatively low cost, to build an MRI system capable of most routine MR sequences. All MRI systems of this type are limited to imaging objects which contain mobile protons, e.g. water, oil. Typical applications include human anatomy and pathology investigations, monitoring of biological specimens (plants and animals), location of water and oil in geological samples and monitoring of the freezing process
