Abstract
This paper presents experimental results of two-dimensional shape and refractive index reconstruction using inverse scattering algorithms previously developed by the authors. The shape reconstruction algorithm is based on solving the direct problem by the null field method and performing inversion by the Newton-Kantorovich technique whilst the refractive index reconstruction algorithm is based on an enhanced diffraction tomography. The experimental results reveal that accurate shape reconstruction is possible under realistic conditions.
