Abstract
Based on all kinds of failure mode of shrink fit tool chuck, the critical magnitudes of interference of these cases are calculated in theory and are validated by the FEA software. Through comparative analysis of the two results, the range of magnitude of interference is obtained. At last, the best fit tolerance of shrink fit tool chuck and tool is advanced. Research work provides a reference for the devise of shrink fit tool chuck.
