  • Abstract
The authors describe a motion recovery procedure for registering and tracking cataract using a coarse to fine edge tracking strategy. The tracking procedure has been tested on a large number of image sequences, including a set of 25 image pairs as part of a double-blind trial. The algorithm has proved to be a very robust registration procedure, and the residual velocity field has provided clinicians with preliminary change data which were previously unavailable
