  • Abstract
    AFDX (avionics full duplex switched ethernet) is a new generation communication technology of airborne equipment and is real-time ethernet. Firstly, the end-to-end delay of AFDX network is analyzed for validation real-time performance of AFDX. Secondly, Based on establishment of the switch model and VL model, the end-to-end delay calculation method of non-priority frames in AFDX network is given and calculation formulation is deduced using the theorem of network calculus. Lastly, a calculation example of the end-to-end delay of frames for a typical AFDX network shows that the calculation method is valid.
