    The advent of materials which superconduct above liquid nitrogen temperatures has, therefore, been accompanied by a revival of interest in potential superconducting device applications at microwave frequencies. These applications fall into three categories: (1) zero resistance devices (i) microwave resonators (ii) transmission lines (iii) antennae (2) Josephson devices (i) A to D converters (ii) frequency mixers (3) EM devices (i) microwave sensors (ii) photon detectors
