Producing multimedia engineering courseware using flash

This workshop will familiarize participants with the key features of Macromedia Flash, a software tool utilized for creating multimedia documents for the web. In this introductory hands-on workshop, the faculty participants will learn how to utilize various powerful capabilities of this software tool to create multimedia instructional modules and slide presentations to complement their courses and enhance their presentations. Additionally in this workshop, sample educational modules produced with Flash will be presented and discussed to further illustrate the power and effectiveness of Flash. Included in this workshop will be a brief discussion about other software tools that can be used in conjunction with Flash to further extend the functionality of the produced educational modules.
