Abstract
This paper deals with the robust control problem of a permanent magnet (PM) synchronous motor subjected to parameters uncertainties. The control strategy is based on a multi-input multi-output (MIMO) high order sliding mode approach. The control law converges in a a priori user-fixed time in spite of the parameters uncertainties, without discontinuities on inputs. Simulation results are given in the framework of an industrial benchmark.
