  • Abstract
    A novel scheme to design a two port microstrip antenna that operates at 2.3 GHz and 8.13 GHz is proposed. In this scheme a RF BJT (NE662M04) used as an amplifier and circuit simulated on Agilent Advance Design System 2007 circuit simulator. This amplifier shows gain of 16.076 dB and 6.085 dB at 2.3 GHz and 8.13 GHz respectively. An oscillator was designed using dual band two port antenna (as a resonator) with positive feedback of an amplifier. PIN diodes used to switch between two frequencies. Finally dual frequency active antenna achieved.
