Abstract
A graph-based estimation method is proposed for distributed sensor networks. In particular, we study the problem of estimating a spatially distributed parameter. The proposed method is based on the consensus algorithm as well as basic linear control theory. As a consequence, observability of sensor networks is also investigated from the graph-theoretic point of view.
