Abstract :
Three real-time digital signal processing applications with the IBM-PC, Motorola´s DSP56001 programmable digital signal processor, and Motorola´s DSP56200 peripheral are presented. The IBM-PC is used as the host platform between the user and the application evaluation systems. In the first application, an adaptive differential pulse mode modulation (ADPCM) system is implemented using the DSP56001 processor. The second application describes the implementation of an adaptive noise canceller using the DSP56001 processor and the DSP56200 peripheral. In the third application, a recursive adaptive line enhancer is implemented using the DSP56001 processor. The software logic and flow of the programs, and the schematic diagrams of the hardware modules are included
