Abstract :
The enhancement of voltage stability using Thyristor Controlled Series Capacitor (TCSC) and Static Synchronous Series Compensator (SSSC). The power system can limit the amount of power that can be transmitted in the system and therefore leads to voltage instability and under heavy loaded conditions there may be insufficient reactive power causing the voltages to drop. FACTS devices can regulate the active and reactive power control as well as adaptive to voltage magnitude control. In this proposed method using TCSC and SSSC controller for maintain the voltage stability. TCSC and SSSC is a series device connected in series with the transmission line to improve voltage stability and reducing the transmission losses.
