Computer aided management and control system of extensive complex distribution networks-experience and developmental trends

The authors describe the operational central management of large medium-voltage distribution networks using a computer-aided information system from the point of view of the user; important system management functions are explained. The logistics involved, i.e. the supply, adaption and addition of data and diagrams for system management, as well as the related change and test system, are described. Knowledge based on several years of experience is shown from the point of view of the user to deduce the requirements for future systems
