Abstract
Three array signal processing model error scenarios are considered: errors in sensor gains and phases, errors in sensor location, and errors in sensor-pair alignments of ESPRIT-type subarrays. The array models under the latter two error scenarios are shown to be approximately of the same form as that under sensor gains and phases provided that the respective errors are small and the magnitudes of the direction of arrival (DOA) angles lie within a narrow enough range. An iterative algorithm for the estimation of the DOA angles of multiple narrowband sources under these error scenarios is proposed and simulations indicate improved estimates using the algorithm
