Abstract
The middle latitude ionospheric D-region parameters´ variations during solar eclipses of the 11th of August, 1999 and the 29th of March, 2006, were experimentally investigated by partial reflection technique. 200-350 % (in the average) increase of the electron density, N, in the D-region was found at different heights in 50, 100 and 240 minutes after the solar eclipse. These events were, perhaps, conditioned by precipitation of high-energetic electrons from the magnetosphere; the duration of the events at all heights was about 200 minutes
