Abstract :
Integrated microcontrollers become more and more a cheap and viable solution for implementing digital control techniques, used in electric drive systems for industrial purposes. A powerful solution in this field is provided by MOTOROLA through its MC68332 microcontroller. This paper presents the special features of the MC68332, as well as a brief description of an implemented application. The novelty consists in the full use of the TPU RISC processor and the development (using TPU microcode) of a unique (TPU) function for pulse pattern generation
