Abstract :
An error compensation technique for cyclic analog-to-digital converters is developed. The method is based on the concept of charge redistribution and is compatible with switched-capacitor circuit techniques. By utilizing an extra capacitor in a ratio-dependent algorithm, the error due to the finite operational amplifier gain can be reduced significantly
