Parameter extraction for small-signal devices-a service to designers

The Harwell Electronic Design Centre requires parameter extraction facilities so that data can be derived from analogue parts not included in the library provided by the vendor of the circuit simulation software. Having already chosen schematic capture hardware and software from DAISY Systems, their CLAB and DPAX programmes were incorporated into the system, to extract sample data, process the data and generate parameter files suitable for the DSPICE circuit simulator
