Abstract
This paper proposes a new switching control method of a space voltage vector modulation (SVM) inverter for a speed servo system of a vector controlled induction motor. The proposed switching control method shortens the control lag time of the SVM inverter and improves the current control characteristics of the servo system. Moreover, by using PI controllers considering the voltage saturation and the torque limiter, the servo system carries out a fine anti-windup control on voltage saturation. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by some experimental results.
